i actually just sent this to genna and chris in an email, or some of it anyway, but i'm too bored to type it all out again :)
today is our first day as seniors! brie was plotting suicide when she realized we're the only upper classmen in chorus, but then carol came, so she calmed down a bit. we also have jr/sr boys, but no new ones. the new teacher on our side is australian, and hte music we started with was a little folk-ish, but she's nice. i haven't seen the other new teacher, but i'm told blue approves of her muchly. i didn't have theatre today, which means that, because of the wierd schedule, i'll only have had two classes on my first day, chorus and us history (also with a new teacher). actually, the only female teachers i have this year are for chorus, and all the teachers i have are new to me. should be interesting. i'm also now a semi-finalist for national merit, which means i have all these essays and nonsense to write. for the moment, though, i'm bored. : ) and the lounge is crowded. it smells already.
i'm enjoying my time for sure since mom got home after having been away w/ the kids for most of hte summer. despite the fact that emmalie will be expected to babysit more, she's not QUITE old enough to decide her own bedtime or tv capacity. i'm not entirely content with this system, believe it or not. grrr...
