Lee coming to terms with Kara leaving is definitely sad. It feels like their last scene in canon. I hope Lee can find a way to be happy.

And then they go together. And maybe he's still just a fra-friend to her, because she doesn't think she can ever be what he wants her to be, and maybe he doesn't have a clear vision of what happens next, but yay, they're together. And not hurting each other. Humans and Cylons are such in a better place in this fic than they really ever got to in canon, so this feels very hopeful.
