I found myself liking Boomer so much more as I wrote this - it was fun to let her be awesome for a change. The situation is incredibly complicated, but I think her perspective is the right one to lead them forward.

It's written! This piece as a whole is in two major arcs: the New Caprica arc and then a Galactica arc, and I felt like they were different enough in tone and pacing that I'd demarcate them. But yes, part two is coming soon :)
