So many mysteries! It's hard to comment on this chapter because the big finale is coming, but I like the way you explain the backstory. And this: the Gods--or God, or whatever--had given humanity something on Kobol, the knowledge of how to pluck a soul from the stream - I really like that way of connecting things back to Kobol and mythology. It's interesting to think that the origins of Cylon creation and dehumanization both go back that far.
