What a lovely piece! I am smitten with the way you've broken the entire fic into vignettes. Every section feels complete unto itself and yet they build this beautiful whole. I love the notion of Leoben seeing bits and pieces of a great whole, and being unable to see the entire thing until the end. What a wonderful piece of storytelling.
