I learned *so* much about graphics from this challenge! Worse, though, I found out that when you make things really little, the details don't show up anymore :) So first, the big versions that I loved. Icon versions of these and more are below the cut - fee free to take any you like!

This was helpful to me, lol, as, for example, you can no longer see that Bill casts Ellen's shadow here. :)

In sumo paint (and presumably with other software? IDK) you can create multiple layers of different images, then adjust them to be somewhat transparent. It took some playing with, but I like how they came out :)

I tend to make icons at a larger size (300 - 500 is the height of most of the caps I have) - color adjustment, effects, textures - but I don't add the text until it's 100 because resized text tends look blurry.

These are gorgeous! I esp. like 1, 2 and 9.

It's very pesky, isn't it, all the details disappearing? Of course, it gets helpful when you've got tiny little errors from copying only part of a picture :-)
